Kevin Wilson

Kevin Wilson serves as the Lead Pastor for Fellowship Community Church, a multi-site church located in the heart of the Roanoke Valley in Virginia. Over twenty-five years ago, Kevin began serving in ministry and spent his early years in recreation ministry and sports evangelism.  Upon graduating from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2005 with a Master of Divinity in Biblical Counseling, Kevin begin his first pastorate in Charlotte, North Carolina.  In 2007, God called him to serve as Student Pastor at Ephesus Baptist Church in Georgia. Kevin built the student ministry with an emphasis on outreach and discipleship and while developing lasting relationships with the students as he equipped them to serve Christ.

In 2012, Kevin followed God’s call to serve as Student Pastor at Fellowship Community Church in Salem, Virginia. In December 2012, he completed his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.  After years in student ministry, Kevin became the Spiritual Growth Pastor at FCC in 2015, which provided the opportunity to oversee the assimilation process for first-time guests and the discipleship programs for adults, students, and children.  During this time, he wrote two bible studies: “The Holy Spirit: Seeing the Power of God Unleashed in Your Life,” and “Hope is Here: A Study in John 16-20.” In 2019, Kevin published his first book, “Gospel Shaped Emotions: Learning to Lay Our Emotions at the Cross of Jesus,” available from Westbow Press. 

In January 2021, Kevin began his next chapter in ministry as Lead Pastor at Fellowship Community Church with a mission to lead the church focused on the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Kevin lives in the Roanoke Valley with his wife, Kristina. They enjoy spending time with their two children, Anna Kate and Parker.
